Drive 29a2YB on Celo. You are paying this named obligation, not a person in the middle.

Pays only to this address 0xc4f8f7507f4D573830f09b73086ce3FfDC0E4787

Locked when the drive opened. After you confirm, tokens leave your wallet and arrive at that address in the same transaction. The Earmark contract never holds the money. There is no withdraw function.

Who the payee is

The address above was chosen by whoever opened the drive, and it cannot be changed. Earmark can prove money reaches it; it cannot prove who owns it. Check it on Celoscan before you pay, the same way you would check an account number.

What happens when you pay

  1. Open Pay this drive in a Celo wallet browser (MetaMask, Rabby, Valora, MiniPay). Enter any amount up to 1 USAT; your share, if the group set one, is filled in for you.
  2. Press Pay now. Your wallet asks you to approve the token once, then to confirm the payment.
  3. The tokens go from your wallet to the address above in that one transaction. The page shows the Celoscan receipt, and the group chat tally marks you paid.
  4. If your amount would push the total past 1 USAT, or the drive is closed or past its date, the contract rejects it and nothing leaves your wallet. When the total reaches 1 USAT the drive closes itself.
  5. On a wallet drive there is no refund from Earmark, because that payment went straight to the payee. On a bill drive the pool sits in Earmark's wallet until the provider is paid, and anything unused comes back.
